InstructaPole Teacher Training is a 5 day intensive training course. We will cover topics including anatomy, community & communication, teaching an intro level class, verbal cuing, spotting, structuring a warm-up and class sequence, DEI, finding your unique teaching style, marketing yourself as a teacher, practice teaching, and more! Sessions will be led by Kirstin Dahmer, Mara Mayer, and Roz Mays (the Diva!).

Kirstin Dahmer is a co-owner of IncrediPole. She has been a pole, fitness, and dance instructor for over a decade and is a licensed massage therapist.

Mara Mayer has over 20 years of teaching experience and currently teaches at Incredipole. Her journey as an educator began first with music, then yoga and pole dance. Her teaching is informed by her work as a community organizer, knowledge of the human nervous system, and #healthgoth culture. She is a certified yoga teacher and holds a B.S. Degree in Cognitive Science.

Roz Mays is NASM certified and has dedicated many late nights at the gym to becoming a kickass personal trainer, pole diva and fitness educator. She specializes in helping nontraditional athletes overcome gym-timiation through pole dancing, TRX, mobility work and strength training. Her talents have been featured in Fitbit, The New York Times, ESPN, Glamour, Huffington Post and other really dope media organizations.

Sharon Goldberg is a co-owner of IncrediPole. She is human to Gypsy the dog and runs the admin of InstrucaPole.

Using their experience in the fitness and education industries, InstructaPole offers a holistic approach to teacher training that focuses on giving new instructors the skill sets to plan and facilitate a class, connect with students, appreciate and value different learning styles and learn to build community.
